Testing Coordinator: Step 5 — Return-to-Duty Testing (Drug and/or Alcohol)
After a DOT drug and/or alcohol violation, the Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) Program is a required part of the Return-to-Duty process.
A non-DOT drug screening to identify possible substance presence prior to a DOT test. Not a DOT test and not a substitute for DOT compliance testing.
A Non-DOT Pre-Screen Alcohol Test is a personal awareness screening used to check for the possible presence of alcohol in the body. This is not a DOT test and does not replace or affect any DOT-required testing.
